A new book out today quotes George W. Bush back in 1993 as saying:
"You know what I'm gonna tell those Jews when I get to Israel, don't you Herman? I'm telling 'em they're all going to hell."
Not particularly surprising for a born-again Bible thumper, especially when he reportedly told the Houston Post " 'that only those who accept Jesus Christ' go to Heaven."
That sentiment is at the very root of Western anti-Semitism. But I guess it's OK if you're pro-Israel. If you voice any criticism of the Israeli government, however, as Ken Roth of Human Rights Watch did, sort of, watch out! Then you qualify for official listing as Anti-Semite!

A more interesting revelation in the book by James Moore and Wayne Slater, a longtime Bush watcher and reporter for the Dallas Morning News, is that Karl Rove is a "self-admitted agnostic!" And that his stepfather, with whom Rove maintained a very close relationship, was gay! Whoa! Who would have thunk it?
I mean, this is the guy who masterminded Bush's 2004 reelection on three issues: "guns" --meaning national security, "God", and "gays." Now it turns out that he doesn't believe any of it. Except maybe the "guns" part.
Surprise, surprise!
Rove is agnostic, eh! Man is he gonna be surprised in Hell! If we don't have one already, we have to invent one for that guy. Throw him in there with a well thumbed yellowed copy of 1984 to read for eternity.
