I completely agree with you about the State of Oregon gambling. Our state is addicted. We can't quit. We just have to go deeper. At least that is what I understand from the Governor's office.

Don't forget that we have already spent tomorrow's lottery take today via lottery "revenue" bonds. They -- the bond issuance cabal -- would be harder to defeat than Dotty's. What would happen to those bonds if we stopped the state gambling enterprises? If there is no "revenue" from the lottery would that mean the obligation on the bonds goes away too?

If you want to buy real estate, you would have to receive the credit loans. Moreover, my mother usually takes a consolidation loan, which seems to be really rapid.
