I agree 100% on Novick. My friends all went with Merkley because of his stand on environmental issues this time around. I am a fan of Dan Saltzman and actually had on my to-do list of research this weekend to look at his record to make sure I like him. So far the only reason I like him is from blurbs in the Oregonian and his support of PPR, the children's levy, and a lovely conversation I had with him last April at a conference on inclusion of people with disabilities.

There was a shelf on each wall overflowing with clown figurines, each angled in such a way that their joyful smile shot at you instantly upon entrance.
